Homestead Organics was the first Certified Naturally Grown Hemp farm in the nation in 2017. We built Homestead Organics to be in line with our Core Values. We use organic farm practices because we value the importance of what we put into our bodies, and into our soil. We thoroughly respect the medicine we make, and the land we live on.
Our farm is located at 7,000 feet on the beautiful Palmer Divide in Colorado. All of our plants live in our greenhouse and indoor facilities giving us the most environmental control as possible. We are a licensed seed labeler in Colorado focusing on producing high quality feminized seeds. We pride ourselves on transparency and are always willing to discuss our products with farmers. We also support the success of other hemp farmers through coaching and mentoring programs.
Meet our owner and head grower on the farm.
Gabe Rimey oversees all day to day operations and manages the breeding programs. Gabe has been very active in the farming and hemp industry over the years. He has over 20 years in cannabis cultivation and commercial greenhouse experience. Producing the highest quality of plants and products is always his goal, while also being caring for the Earth. Gabe has been quoted multiple times, including by Kansas Senator Dan Kerschen in helping to move the Kansas Hemp program forward.
Homestead Organics has had the unique opportunity to host farmers from all over the country and even the world on our property.
We look forward to seeing the rise in this industry, and are an active advocate for the benefits hemp farming brings to both farmers and consumers.
